The war in Ukraine continues — and it is peaceful civilians who suffer the most.

In frontline villages, there are no quiet mornings. No school bells, no bedtime stories, no sense of security about tomorrow.

Every day, thousands of Ukrainian families wake up to the sound of shelling — or far from home, having fled with nothing but fear and pain. Behind every number is a real story. A mother holding her child’s hand during evacuation. A grandmother giving her last warmth to her grandchildren. A child drawing a tank instead of the sun.

The war in Ukraine continues — and it is peaceful civilians who suffer the most.

These are not isolated tragedies — they are the daily reality for thousands of civilians.

For the elderly who cannot leave.

For women left alone with children.

For families who have lost everything.

And for children witnessing things no child should ever see.

We cannot stop the war.

But we can stand beside them.

We can tell them: you are not alone.

Every act of kindness is a form of support.

It’s food where there is hunger.

Warmth where homes are destroyed.

Psychological help where only pain remains.

Hope where despair has taken root.
