The first events took place in November 2024, when 22 Ukrainian charities joined the effort and organized dozens of activities for more than 4,000 children — including children of internally displaced families, children of military personnel, prisoners of war, and fallen defenders of Ukraine.

Today, “The Magic of Kindness” has grown into a nationwide movement. With 30 partner organizations from across Ukraine, the project continues to bring large-scale events to over 11,000 children — creating safe, joyful spaces where, even if just for a moment, children can feel what it means to simply be a child again.

Festivals, concerts, workshops, theatre performances, creative hubs — and most importantly, genuine care, thoughtful gifts, sweet treats, and the feeling of being loved. All of this is made possible by the tireless work of hundreds of caring individuals and organizations.

Despite the losses, evacuations, air raid sirens, and constant uncertainty — children still deserve joy. “The Magic of Kindness” is not just about events. It’s about rebuilding a child’s trust in the world, giving them a reason to laugh, to play, to hug, and to feel seen and valued.
