Returning to civilian life is different for every veteran — and recovery requires an individual approachReturning to civilian life is different for every veteran — and recovery requires an individual approach
One of the tools used during these consultations is VR therapy. After traumatic experiences, certain sounds, images or situations can trigger strong emotional or physical reactions. A controlled virtual environment allows veterans to work with these responses gradually and at their own pace, with a psychologist supporting them throughout the process.
The aim is practical: to help participants better recognise their reactions, regulate tension and gradually reduce the impact of certain triggers on everyday life.

For us at The ENEIDA Foundation, supporting this programme means helping veterans access professional, individualised support and practical tools they can carry with them beyond the programme.
The programme is implemented with the support of The ENEIDA Foundation and BGV Charity Fund 💙💛
