In July and August, 60 children under the care of the "Children of Heroes" Charity Fund traveled to Great Britain as part of the "Educational Visits to the UK" project.
The trip was made possible by the generous support of The Eneida Foundation, which funded the participation of children from families facing difficult financial circumstances.

The program included intensive English language studies, cultural exchange, visits to leading educational institutions, participation in motivational activities, and a genuine immersion in a school environment. The Eneida Foundation fully covered the costs for flights, visa processing, transfers, medical insurance, and chaperones for 12 of the participants.
The children attended several prestigious institutions, including:
University of St Andrews
Lord Wandsworth College
University College London (UCL)
Bloxham School
Wellington School
University of Brighton
During their trip, the children not only studied the language but also participated in sports, excursions, and intercultural meetings. For most of them, this was their first time experiencing an educational system abroad — a new experience that inspired them, built their self-confidence, and fueled their desire to continue learning.
The educational visits to the UK are part of a larger initiative, "Empowering Children Through Education," implemented by the "Children of Heroes" CF with the support of its partners. The program's goal is to help children who have lost one or both parents due to the war overcome educational gaps, regain an interest in learning, and find a sense of inner strength in their new reality.

Unfortunately, the war continues, and the Fund welcomes nearly 50 new children every week. While the number of children in their care is constantly growing, resources remain limited.
This is why the support of caring partners, such as Eneida Foundation, is crucial for providing continuous educational assistance to children affected by the war.
